In the previous spring and summer theme image "THE HEART OF LONG RIDER", we mentioned one of the lyrics from the Eagles Choir (EAGLES): "You can go the distance, We'll find out in the long run" This paragraph comes from The song of the same name from the album [THE LONG RUN] released in 1979, the lyrics "I will eventually understand" are about the fact that only with the passage of time can we gradually see the truth clearly.

This seemingly simple truth is now threatened in our daily lives. We receive a lot of information on social media every day. Although there is a lot of useful content in it, it is also full of hypocrisy that goes against the truth and only pursues "good-looking". Without the ability to distinguish between true and false, those who should be " Will the things we understand over time be buried, and we will miss what is truly important?

As WEST RIDE hopes to become a lifestyle clothing brand that is close to customers, the specific presentation can be "fashion", but after all, there is no established correct answer to fashion; how to display information, capture the trend, and express style are all very important. But if you look directly at fashion as the foundation of clothing, then the most important part is "quality." WEST RIDE always insists on facing this core, and based on its own experience and creativity, properly plans, produces, and proposes a series of products. This is the way WEST RIDE should go.

WESTERN RIVER, the parent company of WEST RIDE, was founded 30 years ago. At that time, in Japan in the early 1990s, the combination of fashion and motorcycle culture was still in its infancy, just as the outdoor clothing and military workwear in the United States in the 1970s inspired the American khaki style. The culture of casual style, and with the birth of motorcycle-specific newspapers and periodicals such as "HOTBIKE JAPAN" and "VIBES", the dreamy Harley motorcycles that were once only seen and heard about have gradually become the objects of pursuit in reality. When these elements are naturally integrated into part of life, they form the basis of the culture we see today.

If we go back to the pre-war period of the 1940s and 1950s, those vintage clothes that are now worth millions, their history and experiences as they continue to move forward on this long journey, It can be said to be a true portrayal of "LONG RIDER", and this is life. Just like WEST RIDE, it is also going through a long journey, gaining countless precious experiences, knowledge and friends along the way.
